Venue: Grand Canal Theatre
This new purpose built Dublin theatre opened its doors on Thursday 18th March 2010 with a performance of Swan Lake by the Russian State Ballet . Designed by architect Daniel Libeskind, it holds an audience of 2,111. President Mary McAleese was the guest of honour among those invited to attend the opening night.
